Issue with Auto-updating Title After Changing Description

Hi everyone,

I am facing a problem with JIRA where the issue title isn’t auto-updating when I modify the description of a ticket. :upside_down_face:

I was under the impression that the title should reflect key changes made in the description (e.g., when editing user stories or tasks).

Is there a setting I need to enable; or is this not standard functionality? I have checked the project settings but didn’t find anything related. I have checked Jira Software Documentation | Atlassian Support | Atlassian Documentation powerapps guide but still need advice .

Additionally; if there are any best practices for keeping titles & descriptions in sync; I would love to hear about them.

What you describe is not a Jira standard feature that comes with it out of the box. I assume that you’re searching for a solution like Jira Automation.
